Rev. Denita E. Robinson (Servant Leader's) Bio
Denita Elaine Robinson (AKA DazzlingDee), a native of Freeport, IL, is a divinely inspired author, lecturer, teacher-leader, poet and servant woman anointed to teach and called of God. An elementary educator for twenty-seven years, she has received numerous awards and recognition for her passionate pursuit of excellence in education – academically and spiritually.
Denita’s greatest desire is to always be a vessel that God can use to fulfill His purposes in her life! To that end, she is a Disciple of Christ at Washington Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the very capable leadership of Pastor Rodney T. Francis, M-Div and First Lady Dr. Leah Gunning-Francis. She also serves in ministry as a co-laborer in support of her husband at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, the physical office location site of their not-for-profit organization Heart 2 Heart, Inc., under the leadership of Pastor Dale (Barb) Cochran.
In the Fall of 2006, Denita accepted her calling to the ministry with support, love, and prophetic insight from her mentor, Sista friend in Christ, and mom in the ministry, Rev. Jean Hardge, Associate Minister of Westside Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Ronald L. Bobo. On December 9, 2012, she was licensed and ordained to the gospel ministry by her father in the ministry and pastor, Rev. Rodney T. Francis! As it is written (Esther 4:14 The Amplified Bible), "For if you keep silent at this time,… who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?"
She is co-founder of Heart 2 Heart, Inc. (H2H, Inc.), a nonprofit begin in the Fall 2003. H2H, Inc. is a juvenile re-entry and family support organization in St. Louis, MO, where she currently resides with her husband/co-founder of H2H, Inc. and Gift from God, Walter “Chuck” Robinson, Jr. Denita is also the visionary behind Daughters of Zion (DOZ), a monthly prayer support group for women in ministry leadership positions, which had its inception in July 2010. Additionally in 2012, she and Chuck started Triple C Marriage Ministry. This work attempts to combat the ever-increasing divorce rate amongst Believers through a support system. It entails gathering Christian couples to view movies (Cinema) to help them learn to maximize their marriages. It's foci is three-pronged: Compassion, Christ, and Committment. Finally, her personal evangelistic thrust and greatest inspiration is through the Sistas In God Mirroring Abba (SIGMA) ministry inspired by God in the Winter of 2006 – with official weekly ministry meetings beginning January 2007. Affectionately called ‘Friday night live,’ these city-wide Bible Studies for all women of faith deal with practical applications of walking out the Word based on James 1:19-27. Now entering its 7th year, Denita is witnessing God bring about many life transformations as together, she and the women, grow in grace.
In April 2010, Denita completed the 15-month course requirements through the Calvary School of Ministry & Leadership and the International School of Ministry (ISOM) for certification in Biblical Studies. Graduation commenced in June 2010. In February 2011, Denita begin matriculating at Central Methodist University (CMU), graduating August 28, 2012, with a 4.0 GPA and her Masters of Education (M Ed). She is currently completing the AACU (American Association of Christian Counselors) Curriculum working towards certification in women’s counseling. Aside from her personal studies, Denita has taken various trainings and workshops to enhance her ministry gifts- always "to the glory of God!"
DazzlingDee is the proud parent of three adult children: Terri (Nigel) and Matice of Missouri, Wade (Christin) of Ohio. She has five grandchildren, Jasmine, Michael, & Anyah (MO), and Kaeden Adonis & Kenzlee Joy (OH). She also acknowledges her precious angel, Wade F. Morris, III (AKA Tre’), whom the Lord called home after ten days of earthly life in October 2010.
